Bryan Health has announced they will be removing COVID-19 visitor restrictions on March 1 as well as resuming their valet service. Additionally, surgeries requiring overnight stays have resumed.

As the number of cases of the Omicron variant continues to decline Bryan was able to close one of it’s COVID dedicated units on the East Campus.   There is still a partial unit left on the West Campus.   “You can feel it within our staff. There starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel,” says Bryan Health president and CEO John Woodrich.   “The stress, you can literally  kind of watch it come out of their faces.

During the COVID surge Bryan treated over 3,200 patients from across the state and bordering states.  A third of the patients have been outside Lancaster County.

Since the start of the pandemic Bryan has had 475 COVID-19 deaths.
