The Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department reports another COVID-19 death Friday, a woman in her 30’s who was hospitalized and unvaccinated. The total number of deaths is now at 407.
There were 112 confirmed new cases on Friday bringing the total number to 68,331.
There are 95 people hospitalized with 70 from Lancaster County. There are seven patients on ventilators. This number includes patients who no longer test positive for COVID-19 but continue to be hospitalized.
Those experiencing some of the most severe outcomes from COVID-19 are unvaccinated. LLCHD strongly urges everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated or boosted.
