COVID -19 claimed four more lives in Lancaster County today – two men in their 50’s who were hospitalized and unvaccinated, a man in his 50’s who was vaccinated and not hospitalized, and a woman in her 80’s who was unvaccinated and hospitalized. The number of deaths now total 406.
There were 124 new cases on Thursday bringing the total number to 68,219.
There are 107 people hospitalized with 81 from Lancaster County. There are nine patients on ventilators.
There are several upcoming vaccination clinics. Friday’s is at the Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday’s clinic is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday’s is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Health Department. The clinics will offer first and second doses for ages 5 and older. Pfizer booster doses for age 12 and older, and Moderna booster doses for those 18 and older.
