Lancaster County deputies were called to a home in Walton around 3:25 p.m. Monday, January 31st to investigate a domestic assault. A 70 year old man reported that 55 year old Susan Charbonneau was assaulting him by throwing lawn ornaments at him while demanding money.
Sheriff Terry Wagner says, “He got into his vehicle for safety and she accelerated her vehicle about 80 feet and intentionally rammed his driver’s side door, activating his airbags. That did about $5,200 in damage.”
Charbonneau was booked for 2nd degree domestic assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and criminal mischief.
Authorities say the man and Charbonneau lived in the same home.
