By Tom Stanton Jan 31, 2022 | 10:12 AM

A Lincoln man was taken to jail after getting into an altercation with his fiancee’s adult son around 7:30 Sunday night in the 1000 block of NW Garver. LPD Captain Max Hubka tells KLIN News during the dispute 51 year old Troy England started swinging a two foot long sword and damaged some furniture.

“The father heard the police sirens approaching and at that point he placed the sword up on a wall mount,” Hubka says.  Police say there were two teenagers inside the house at the time of the incident.

England was booked for making terrorist threats, use of deadly weapon to commit a felony and child abuse.  No one was hurt.
