Lincoln firefighters found a burning mattress inside a home at 25th and E around 5 Sunday morning. LFR’s Nancy Crist says one person was standing in the doorway when they arrived and another person was inside.
“Just sitting on the floor in the bedroom and the bedroom was full of smoke. Our folks carried him out. Both victims were transported to the hospital and reported to be in stable condition.”
Crist says a cigarette sparked that fire and damage is estimated at 15-hundred dollars.
