The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says a Lincoln man was killed in a one vehicle crash just after 4:00 Sunday afternoon in rural Elmwood.
Deputies and emergency crews were called to the area of 268th and Havelock for an overturned vehicle in the ditch and waterway. When Deputies arrived on scene, they found a 2004 silver Chevy Cavalier overturned in the water with the driver ejected.
The driver has been identified as 35 year old Kyle Wainwright. The Nebraska State Patrol was requested to investigate and reconstruct the accident scene.
