Lincoln Police saw a vehicle parked near 7th and N Street around 11:30 on Friday, January 21st. The driver, 37 year old Jason Pratt was acting suspicious so the officer ran the license plate on the Oldsmobile 88 and they belong on a different vehicle.

Pratt was contacted and two open bottles of alcohol were in the driver’s door pocket. A realistic looking pellet gun was also inside.

Officers asked Pratt if he had any weapons as he was reaching for his waistband. Officers found a small knife, a baggie with cocaine, and a large amount of money on Pratt.

Officers searched the vehicle and they found 7 small “shooter” bottles of alcohol, a bottle of Schnapps, several baggies and containers with suspected cocaine, a .357 magnum revolver, additional .357 rounds, .22 rounds, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, suspected LSD squares, baggies, and other paraphernalia.

Pratt appeared to be under the influence of alcohol so LPD started a DUI Investigation. Pratt refused to submit a preliminary breath test but eventually gave permission for another test that showed he was under the legal limit to drive.

Pratt was eventually booked for two counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, possession of a firearm during a drug violation, possession of money during a drug violation, refusal of a preliminary breath test, possession of open alcohol container, possession of a toy gun within the city limits, no operator’s license, fictitious plates, no valid registration and possession of drug paraphernalia.
