A member of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Criminal Interdiction Unit spotted a Toyota Tundra with Oregon license plates driving eastbound on I-80 near Highway 77 South around 9:28 p.m. January 14th.
Deputies stopped the vehicle for traffic violations and called for a drug dog to conduct a search.
Inside the bed of the Tundra, investigators found 214 pounds of marijuana sealed in individual one pound packages.
The driver, 31 year old Jack Cox had a driver’s license from Montana but told investigators he was from Grand Pass, Oregon. Cox was lodged for possession with intent to deliver.
