Lincoln Police investigators spotted a man with a suspended driver’s license behind the wheel of a vehicle near 30th and U Street around 3 p.m. Friday. The investigator saw the vehicle park and started to approach it when they saw 24 year old Tilian Tilian get inside the vehicle. The officer was able to stop the vehicle before it took off.
Tilian had a loaded .380 pistol in his jacket pocket and two tablets containing oxycodone. Tilian was booked for carrying a concealed weapon and for possession of a controlled substance.
Officer searched the vehicle and found a .45 caliber pistol in the center console. The driver, 19 year old Liep Yiel was booked for carrying a concealed weapon and for driving on a suspended license.
