A Lincoln woman was cited after Lincoln Police say she ran a red light at 9th and O Street around 10:00 Wednesday morning and struck another vehicle.
“The force of this collision pushed the gray Honda Odyssey into the Holiday Inn Express hotel on the southeast corner of the intersection,” says Sergeant Chris Vigil. “The collision with the building caused approximately $10,000 in damage to the structure.”
Vigil says both drivers and a passenger in 26-year-old Breeonne Weger’s vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries. Weger was cited and released for Negligent Driving and Possession of Marijuana (less than 1oz).
