Lincoln Police say two teenagers were sitting in a vehicle in the 11oo block of West C Street around 6:00 Wednesday night when another vehicle pulled up along side them.  Assistant Chief Jason Stille says one of the three people in the other car pointed a gun at the 18 and 19 year old victims.

“And demanded their items.  Ultimately stolen was one AR-15 rifle valued at about $530.  It appears that was all that was taken,” Stille says.  Stille says the two teens had been shooting the rifle earlier in the day.

Officers processed the scene for evidence, canvassed the area, and are continuing to seek additional investigative leads.  This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
