A man is facing charges after breaking into a Lincoln restaurant just after midnight Thursday because he was looking for a warm place to stay.
Police received a call from a woman who stated she was looking for her boyfriend who had been walking around intoxicated. She was able to track him through his cell phone and believed he was inside the Panda Garden restaurant near 48th and O Street.
Police arrived to find the front door shattered. Apparently he had been looking for a warm place to stay so broke in. He was found asleep in the restroom. Police say he was taken into custody for trespassing and vandalism. He was then taken to detox for treatment.
