Lincoln Police are looking for a pair of thieves who broke into an ATM at Midwest Bank near 27th and Jamie Lane around 3:30 Sunday morning.
“When officers arrived they found the ATM had been entered and the contents were missing,” says Officer Erin Spilker. “There’s an estimated $40,000 damage to the ATM and bank and an undisclosed amount of cash had been stolen.”
Spilker says the suspects arrived in a white Ford pickup truck. It’s believed that truck was used to gain access to the ATM. Officers checked the area and found a white 2002 Ford F250 running and unoccupied in the 7900 block of Katrina Lane.
Officers contacted the owner of the truck who indicated the truck had been stolen from his residence in the 6500 block of Densmore Road sometime overnight.
