Lincoln Police have released results of an underage drinking project that coincided with the return of school and the football season. During the last five Husker home football games extra officers were used to enforce underage drinking along with other illegal activity prior to the kick-off of each game.
Officers issued 18 minor in possession citations and 10 for consuming alcohol in public. There were also 10 traffic citations and 83 parking violations. 36 vehicles were towed.
