Lincoln Police are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery just before midnight Tuesday at the Kwik Shop at 27th and W. Two men wearing black hoodies and face masks entered the store, got several items and went to check out.
“Once the items were totaled together, one of the males produced a silver handgun,” says LPD Sergeant Steve Wiese. He says the suspects demanded a second cash register be opened and cash was taken from both registers.
Both men took off southbound on foot away from the store. No one was hurt and police are continuing their investigation.
