Former Husker football coach and U-S Congressman Tom Osborne is urging Nebraskans to get vaccinated in a new video public service announcement released Wednesday by the Nebraska Hospital Association.
“COVID-19 is still a serious threat in Nebraska,” Osborne says. “Our hospitals across the state from Scottsbluff to Omaha are at their limit.”
The legendary coach stated that unvaccinated patients in Nebraska hospitals now outnumber vaccinated patients 11 to 1. “Getting the vaccine is the right thing to do for all Nebraskans.”
