Lincoln Police were called to South 9th and F Street around 5:30 p.m. on November 26th on a report of a disturbance. Officers found a man standing in the middle of the street holding a large wooden club. Officers used several methods to de-escalate the situation and 29 year old Yagobo Kholfan was taken into custody.
A woman and a man told officers that Kohlfan ran toward them holding the club and had been screaming threats. Both believed they were going to be assaulted.
While being taken into custody, a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue was found in Kholfan’s possession.
Kholfan was booked for terroristic threats, possession of a controlled substance and on an unrelated misdemeanor arrest warrant.
