Tower Square in downtown Lincoln will be turned into the North Pole this week. Todd Ogden is President & CEO of the Downtown Lincoln Association and says people will have a chance to see holiday lights, write letters to Santa and decorate Christmas trees.
He says outdoor speakers have also been set up to play holiday music. He says it’s all designed to draw more holiday shoppers into the downtown area
“We’re also going to have areas that will have brochures and discounts from our local shops, restaurants and entertainment venues so people know once they get to the North Pole they’ll know how to spend money downtown and get gifts.”
He says the set up begins today and should be ready to go Tuesday.
