A death investigation is underway after Lincoln Police were called to the Super Saver parking lot near 56th and Highway 2 around 8 a.m. Monday, November 22nd. The caller told police there was an unresponsive man inside a vehicle.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue forced entry into the vehicle and soon declared the 36 year old male occupant was deceased. Due to unexplained injuries, an autopsy was ordered. Investigators processed the scene and are reviewing store security video of the area. The vehicle the man was in belonged to someone he knew. His name has not been released.
