Lincoln Police were called to four residences around 11 p.m. November 20th on vandalism reports. In each case the victims reported a group of individuals kicked in their doors and left in a dark colored sedan. The homes targeted were in the 7800 block of Sycamore, 2300 block of S 61st, 2000 block of Devonshire, and the 8000 block of Talbot.
The latest social media trend is a TikTok challenge that encourages people to video record themselves kicking in doors while playing a certain song. LPD states this is a frightening trend that causes alarm to fear to those who are being targeted.
Officers collected evidence at all four homes, searched the area and are looking at home security video.
