There are two more COVID-19 deaths in Lancaster County. The Health Department reports a woman in her 70’s who was hospitalized and unvaccinated died Thursday. The second is a delayed report of a woman in her 60’s who died in January. She was not vaccinated. The total number of deaths is now at 325.
There were 253 cases reported Thursday. That is the highest daily total this year. The number cases now total 43,567.
There are 90 people hospitalized with 52 from Lancaster County. Twelve patients are on ventilators.
The Risk Dial is in the mid-orange category meaning the risk of spread is high. The current DHM that includes the mask mandate is in effect through November 24.
There is a vaccination clinic Friday, November 19th from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Lincoln – Lancaster County Health Department. This is first and second doses.
Saturday’s clinic is at Southwest High School, first doses for children ages 5 to 11. That clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 2;30 p.m.
Tuesday’s clinic is at the Health Department from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is first and second doses.
Testing continues at Bryan Health, CHI Health, Nomi Health and at several pharmacies.
