A 24 year old Lincoln man was arrested after police tracked him down at a hotel just before 2:00 Wednesday afternoon. Officer Erin Spilker says the vehicle owner was tracking it near 26th and Cornhusker and called police.
Officers received updated information which led them to the parking lot of the Luxury Inn near NW 12th Street and W Adams. They found the stolen silver 2006 Chevrolet Impala unoccupied. Witnesses told police the occupants entered a hotel room.
They contacted 24-year-old Henry Southall III and determined he was the driver of the vehicle. Southhall was arrested for felony Theft by Receiving as well as an outstanding warrant for DUI.
The vehicle had been reported stolen on November 9th just before 4 a.m. from the 3300 block of Portia Avenue.
