A Lincoln man says he saw his 1997 Ford F150 truck driving down Highway 2 around 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Her told police the truck was stolen on November 7th from 12th and D.
The man saw the truck stop at the Jet Splash Car wash at 3800 S 9th Street and contacted the driver. He told the driver the truck was his and was calling police.
The man then pulled out a handgun and threatened to shoot the victim before fleeing the area on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the man. Officers processed the vehicle for evidence and are seeking video nearby.
