Lincoln Police make an arrest in the burglaries of two businesses this week.
Trek CBD at 505 N 27th was broken into around 4 Wednesday morning. Kure CBD and Vape at 4230 S 33rd was burglarized around 5 a.m. on Thursday. In both cases the front doors were broken and merchandise taken.
Lincoln Police were also called to Southwood and Highway 2 around 8 a.m. on Thursday, November 11 after several vehicles were broken into. The victims reported credit and debit cards missing along with keys, wallets and loose change.
At 10 a.m. on November 11th, police were following up on a missing juvenile and went to a home in the 300 block of Gaslight Lane. A 15 year old boy was inside the home and officers recognized his clothing matched what one of the suspects was wearing in the burglary of Trek CBD. The officer received permission to search the home and they found stolen property from both businesses. They also found credit and debit cards taken from the vehicle burglaries.
The 15 year old was referred for two counts of burglary and felony criminal possession of 4 or more financial transaction devices.
