There is a new warden at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution. Director Scott Frakes announced that Craig Gable will replace Todd Wasmer who became the assistant warden at the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center in Lincoln.
Frakes says, “Craig brings the leadership perspective and approach we need at TSCI. He has been about transformation throughout his career and has moved through the ranks at several facilities. Craig is unshakable in his commitment to quality and models the agency’s values.”
Back in 2011, Gable started as a correctional officer with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services.. Gable has moved through the ranks of corporal, sergeant, lieutenant, captain, intelligence captain, and associate warden. He has worked at the State Penitentiary, the Lincoln Correctional Center, the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women, the Omaha Correctional Center, the Nebraska Correctional Youth Facility and DEC.
