By Tom Stanton Nov 9, 2021 | 11:34 AM

A 22 year old Bellevue man is accused of leaving a trail of destruction behind at Waverly High School Sunday night. “He drove his Mitsubishi Mirage through a bunch of fencing out at the football and soccer fields and into the goal post causing about $35,000 damage,” says Lancaster County Sheriff’s Captain Tom Brookhouser.

Brookhouser says about 200 yards of chain link fencing and a 8 x 24 foot steel soccer goal post were damaged.  He says Jacob Jordan resisted arrest when deputies arrived and had to be tased.  Brookhouser saus he was also under the influence of drugs.

Jordan was booked at the Lancaster County Jail for criminal mischief, resisting arrest and driving under the influence of drugs.
