A 24-year old Lincoln man was taken to jail after causing quite a scene at an after-game tailgate party early Saturday evening in the Haymarket Area. “He was apparently intoxicated, barged into the open garage and began stealing food,” LPD Captain Max Hubka tells KLIN News.
“When he was confronted, he attempted to assault some of the guests at the tailgate and then began vandalizing the property by flipping over furniture and knocking over a large grill.” Hubka says.
He says the suspect was detained by Haymarket Security and Lincoln Police but the trouble continued as he was being transported from the scene. “Pulling away from officers, yelling and screaming and at one point he turned and spit directly into an officers eye.”
Demietri Kondratyuk was booked for trespassing, vandalism and assault with a bodily fluid on a law enforcement officer.
