Lincoln Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Friday morning at the Extended Stay Hotel near 17th and M Street. LPD Investigator Eric Messersmith tells KLIN News the trouble began when a man arrived at the hotel with a female acquaintance.
“Upon entering the room the victim was confronted by an unknown male suspect. The male suspect reportedly had a gun.” Messersmith says the victim was forced to give up his cash, bank card, phone and keys to his vehicle.
He says the woman and the male suspect then left the hotel.
