A 45 year old man is facing charges after a Lincoln Police officer spotted a pickup with expired in-transit papers around 6 p.m. Monday, October 25th near 40th and Adams.
The officer spoke with the driver, Jason Densberger who was driving on a suspended license. While being taken into custody, officers found a knife with a 3 3/4 inch blade in his pocket along with $150.
Officers searched the pickup and found 19.3 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $1,200 and multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Officers also found four more knives hidden throughout the pickup with blades ranging between 4 1/2 inches to 6 inches.
Densberger had a 16 year old passenger in the front seat when he was confronted by the officer. He was booked for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of money while violating a drug law, carrying a concealed weapon – 2nd subsequent offense, driving under suspension and child abuse.
