There is $50,000 in damage to garages in a row of units at an apartment complex at 1421 Superior. LFR was called to the complex around 1:50 p.m. Thursday, October 14th after smoke could be seen coming from a garage.
Firefighters were able to break into the garage and they quickly put the fire out. The fire spread to a neighboring garage. One of the garages housed a motorcycle that was not damaged.
The cause remains under investigation.
