Lincoln Police were called to 8th and H around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 13th to investigate a disturbance. A 41 year old woman told officers she had been assaulted by her roommate, 60 year old Brent Neverve. She said he hit her with a crowbar several times after an argument. The woman had injuries consistent with the assault but she did not require medical attention.
Police spoke to witnesses and processed the scene. Neverve was taken into custody and booked for 2nd degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
