Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to an automatic alarm around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night at a lumber yard at 4401 S 33rd Street.
Firefighters arrived at 84 Lumber to find smoke in the building. The fire started at a work bench area inside the warehouse type building. The fire triggered the overhead sprinkler system and contained the fire to that area.
The damage is estimated at $15,000 and the cause remains under investigation.
