A 36 year old Lincoln man is recovering after a violent robbery around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 12th at Village Avenue and T Blvd. The man was walking to work when a light colored sedan pulled up and several individuals got out and approached him.
The suspects demanded money and assaulted him. During the attack, one of the individuals pulled out a handgun and pointed it at him. The victim was hit several times by several of the people involved before they took his wallet and left the area.
The victim’s injuries did not require medical treatment.
Officers processed the scene for evidence, canvassed the area, and are seeking video from the area. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
