KLIN Team Ready for Busy Husker Weekend

By Kaleb Henry Sep 30, 2021 | 12:08 PM

Homecoming Weekend isn’t just busy for Nebraska Athletics—the staff at KLIN has also filled up their own schedules.

The weekend kicks off Friday morning with the Friday Husker Tailgate from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. with Jack Mitchell, Kaleb Henry, and former Husker Brenden Stai. You can listen to the show at KLIN.com or watch on the KLIN Facebook page.

The evening gets busy as KLIN will carry No. 12 Nebraska volleyball hosting Michigan. First serve is set for 6 p.m., right after Drive Time Lincoln. Also Friday night is Opening Night for Husker Hoops, which Henry will have a recap of on KLIN.com following the event.

Saturday morning gets started with the KLIN Husker Hour as Henry and Cole Stukenholtz take you through the week of Huskers and look to the upcoming game.

The gameday tailgate destination for KLIN is the Cornhusker Marriott. Join Mitchell and Henry, beginning about 2:30 p.m., for food and drinks outside the Cornhusker with live music from the Killigans. Shortly after 4 p.m., the Nebraska Alumni Band takes over and plays until the team exits the hotel to head to the stadium.

Pregame for Nebraska-Northwestern football begins at 2:30 p.m., with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m..  Stukenholtz and Henry will have a live recap from Memorial Stadium at the KLIN Facebook page following the game.

You can stay up to date with game broadcasts and stories at KLIN.com, and you can get the top news and sports stories of the day direct to your email with The Daily from KLIN.
