A Beaver Crossing man is in the hospital and facing charges after a motorcycle crash around 8:25 Wednesday night at the intersection of Highway 77 and 92 near Mead.
The patrol says when troopers arrived they found several packages of a white powder laying near the motorcycle. The rider, 50 year old Kurt Heckenliable was taken to an Omaha hospital.
The patrol says the powder substance field-tested as methamphetamine. It total troopers located ten pounds of methamphetamine at the scene. Once he is released from the hospital, Heckenliable will be taken to the Saunders County jail.
