In an effort to prevent illegal behavior on home football Saturdays, the Lincoln Police Department’s Northwest Team has coordinated an underage drinking project to coincide with the return of school and the Husker football season.

Police say the goal of this project is to impact dangerous behaviors such as binge drinking, underage drinking, wild parties, and drunk driving during home football games.

Additional officers will continue to patrol in and around Memorial Stadium each Saturday.
