Two arrests have been made in the theft of construction equipment on the South Beltway project on June 25th and September 3rd. Two bulldozers, a trailer, three skid loaders, and other equipment were taken during these thefts.  The loss totaled more than $325,ooo.

An investigator with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating the thefts and followed a lead to Missouri. 37 year old Zachary Heob and 25 year old Bailey Wadlow were arrested for theft by unlawful taking. Both were employed by subcontractors on the South Beltway project when the equipment was taken.

They do have a third suspect but that person has not been arrested.
