A suspect in the break-in and theft of items from the Connection Point Church at 1333 N 33rd Street on August 18th is behind bars. A church employee reported that someone had entered the building by breaking a window. Several doors had been pried on and a second window was broken. A laptop, bicycle, oils and plastic traffic cones were taken.
When officers processed the scene, blood was found. The blood was sent to the state lab and a report came back indicating the source was 33 year old Donald Proulx Jr.
Lincoln Police found Proulx during a traffic stop near 26th and A Street on September 3rd at 9:30 a.m. He was taken into custody for the burglary. The estimated loss is around $900.
