On Friday, September 3rd, just after 11 a.m., Lincoln Police were called to the 11100 block of S 70th Street for a theft. They spoke to a construction site foreman with Gregg Electric who reported someone stole three skid loader auger attachments between 4 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday. The foreman reported finding the skid loader moved and covered with mud.
A Hausmann Construction employee reported they had a skid loader stolen at the same time. A HEP employee also reported another skid loader belonging to them was stolen.
The estimated loss is around $70,000.
