A 20 year old man was killed in a Labor Day crash on I-80 near the Greenwood exit. The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says around 8:20 a.m. Monday a 2005 Honda Accent was traveling eastbound on Interstate 8o.
The vehicle then left the roadway into the center median. The vehicle then jumped the creek and rolled over. The sheriff’s department says the driver of the vehicle, Chaz Clark of Bennington, was pronounced dead at the scene. Speed is believed to be a factor and seatbelts were not in use.
The accident is being reconstructed by Nebraska State Patrol.
