The Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force found what they were looking for when they served a warrant at an apartment building in the 3300 block of Huntington Avenue Monday night during an ongoing drug investigation.
The Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force found six adults inside the residence and detained them. LPD says 63-year-old Michael Ernst was found with 114.9 grams of methamphetamine in numerous bags that has an estimated street value of $10,000. Investigators also located $680 cash in Ernst’s pants pocket.
Investigators found 0.4 grams of loose methamphetamine on a plate near 43-year-old Kristin Cardona and 45-year-old Kelley Gray. In a bedroom belonging to 48-year-old Tony Menefee, investigators located a scale with methamphetamine residue.
40-year-old April Jauken was found with a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue in a bathroom. A syringe filled with meth was found in a backpack LPD says belonged to 38-year-old Mitchell Prester. Menefee, Jauken, Prester, Cardona, and Gray were all arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Ernst was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver and Possession of Money while Violating a Drug Law.
