Lincoln Police were called to the 4700 block of Dudley around 11:30 Thursday night on a report of gunshots heard near Madsen’s Bowling and Billiards. When officers arrived they saw several people leaving the area.
An employee from Madsen’s reported that they were asked to call police after someone came in and told them someone fired a gun outside. Officers learned that an argument began in the area that spilled into the Madsen’s parking lot. Officers processed the scene for evidence and located a spent shell casing in the parking lot.
Officers also canvassed the area, requested video from businesses and interviewed witnesses. Officers did not find anyone injured or damage. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
