On August 19th at 8 p.m., investigators with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force served a warrant on a home at 17th and Washington stemming from a narcotics investigation. 31 year old Andrew Gilkerson was taken into custody on a traffic stop at 28th and E before the warrant was served.
Investigators found 10.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine – with a $900 street value and $2,200 in cash on him. Inside his vehicle they found 33 Oxycodone pills with an estimated value of $800.
Inside his home, investigators found 7.1 grams of suspected methamphetamine with a $600 street value, psilocybin mushrooms, marijuana and items used to sell and consume drugs.
Gilkerson was booked for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession with intent to deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession of money while violating a drug law, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.
