A 41-year-old man from Exeter man accused of selling stolen windmill blades to Lancaster County Sheriff’s investigators is facing more trouble. The sheriff’s office says Spencer Lile has now been booked on suspicion of possession of child pornography.
LSO Captain Tommy Trotter says Lile was already in jail for felony theft related to the windmill blades when investigators found pornography on an electronic device while serving a warrant during a follow-up investigation. Trotter said investigators found numerous photos and videos of children believed to be under the age of 16 engaged in various sexual acts.
He says investigators don’t believe the pornography had been produced locally, but the investigation is ongoing. Lile was arrested on the new charges Wednesday. Trotter says Lile tried to sell the stolen windmill blades to investigators on Craigslist.
