Lincoln Man Sentenced For Burglary Of Two Smoke Shops

By Tom Stanton Aug 12, 2021 | 12:50 PM

A 20 year old Lincoln man was sentenced Thursday to 5-10 years in prison for the burglary of two smoke shops in Lincoln in February of 2020.

Tang T. Lian was involved in a burglary at D&K  Smokeshop in the 2400 hundred block of N. 48th Street on February 6.  Several vape products were taken after a store window was broken out.  In the Cloud 9 Smokeshop burglary at 52nd and Old Cheney, a cash box was stolen and significant damage was done to store property.

“Shop owners are understandably upset about being continually targeted over the past year and a half,” says Lancaster County Attorney Pat Condon.  “I’ll continue to work with the Lincoln Police Department to prosecute these and similar crimes, recognizing the impact they have on businesses and the community.”
