Lincoln Catholic Schools are seeking further information from the health department on its directive that all schools in Lancaster County shall require masking.
Health Director Pat Lopez cited several sources that recommend masking in a letter August 5th and indicated the Health Department is requiring masking in Lancaster County Schools for all children over the age of 2 and under the age of 12 and all individuals not fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Dr. Matt Hecker, Chief Administrative Officer of Catholic Schools sent a letter to Health Director Pat Lopez last week questioning the directive and asking for clarification on a number of items.
KLIN News has sent requests to interview Dr. Hecker and Director Lopez but have not received a response as of early Monday morning.
