The Kids Drop Off Zones at the Lancaster Event Center Fairgrounds will be closed through Saturday due to the number of children below the age of 13 being dropped off at the Super Fair without parental supervision, a violation of fairgrounds’ rules.
Event Center staff is asking that all children that can’t drive themselves out to the fairgrounds be accompanied by adults at least 19 years of age. Parents will be asked to enter through the main fair gates off 84th Street or Havelock Avenue where they must pay for the fair gate admission of $3 for all adults and children 2 years old and above in the vehicle.
In addition, there is a fairgrounds parking fee of $5 per vehicle per day if the daily parking pass is presented at each entry.
Free fair gate admission tickets can be picked up at any U-Stop, Super Saver, Russ’s Market and
West Gate Bank Lincoln locations while supplies last.
