Argument Leads To Stabbing

Lincoln Police were called to the 800 block of N 26th Street around 10 a.m. to investigate a stabbing. Police learned the victim had left for a hospital and the suspect was gone.

Witnesses told police the two men had been arguing and that it turned physical. The stabbing victim had a bb gun and the other man had a knife. The suspect then started slashing the knife at the victim who was cut on his arm, back and face.

The 37 year old victim was contacted at a hospital. He will recover. Officers are still trying to identify the suspect. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Lincoln police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
