Two stabbing investigations are underway. The first happened on Sunday, July 24th at 3 a.m. when officers were called to 19th and G for a disturbance. Officers spoke to a 42 year old man who said he had an argument with a woman he knew. She then pulled out a knife and and cut his hand. The man was taken to a hospital with a non-life threatening injury. The woman ran from the scene.
The second stabbing happened around 2 a.m. Monday near 1st and O Street. Police spoke with the victim who said a mane believed to be a transient robbed him of alcohol, cash and a phone. The victim had a large cut to his arm and was taken to a hospital for treatment and should recover.
